Terms of use

This document covers two things: (1) the use of the site sigeto.com and (2) the format in which Cartographie Calme conducts paid work. The site is informational. Paid work is governed by a specific written contract — in case of any divergence, the contract prevails over these terms.

1. Use of the site

The content published on sigeto.com reflects, in good faith, how the work is carried out at the time of publication. It is not legal, regulatory, or commercial advice. If you use the site's content to make decisions outside of active work with us, you do so at your own risk.

Industrial collection of the site's content is not permitted, nor are attempts to reconstruct the working method from the public content or to republish long extracts without attribution. Linking and quoting with a stated source is, as a rule, allowed.

2. Contact form

Sending the form is neither an offer, a contract, nor a promise from either party. It is only a structured way to send context. Cartographie Calme replies when the context allows a useful answer. The submission itself does not create a right to a particular reply, a response time, or a service.

A message may be declined if the subject falls outside the scope of Cartographie Calme, if current capacity does not allow it, or for any other operational reason. A refusal is not a judgement on your business — what decides, almost always, is capacity and fit with the specialization.

3. Format of paid work

Paid work is governed by a written contract signed by both parties before it begins. That contract sets out the scope, deliverables, deadlines, amounts, payment terms, confidentiality, intellectual property, indemnities, and the way disputes are resolved. These site terms do not replace that contract.

The work follows the principles described publicly: documented execution, manual review of sensitive tasks, explicit prohibition zones. If a client instruction conflicts with these principles, the work is either renegotiated or ended — the set of principles is not traded for commercial flexibility.

4. No guarantee of result

Visibility in AI systems and in search engines depends on factors no one fully controls: model behavior, third-party platform policy, the client's implementation choices, market conditions, and time. There is no guarantee of position in results, of citation by models, of recommendation, or of any specific behavior from an AI system. Concrete expectations about results are recorded in the work contract, with reservations and within a defined scope.

5. Liability

For free use of the site, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. For paid work, liability is defined and limited in the contract itself. Liability is not excluded for wilful misconduct, fraud, gross negligence, or any other case where the law does not permit exclusion.

6. Applicable law and jurisdiction

For use of the site, French law applies, with jurisdiction of the courts of the operator's place of residence, unless consumer protection legislation imposes a different jurisdiction in the user's favor. For paid work, the applicable law and competent jurisdiction are set out in the work contract.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms are updated as the working model evolves. The "Updated" date at the top marks the version in force. Substantive changes affecting ongoing work are communicated directly to clients; changes that concern only the site are reflected here.
